Hi there! I’m gonna be releasing a song on December 4th, 2026. It’s kinda a funny story.
I wrote this song in 2022. Like actual brain dump. At some point there was literally a rap in it.
I recorded it with Max Bienert and Spencer Askin at the beginning of 2023. This was the same batch as songs like Girls Bathroom, Cool, and You’ve Already Decided (Against Me). Then, earlier this year, Dani Nawrocki and Emily Santana reached out to me about wanting to make a music video. I sent them all the songs I had ready but hadn’t released, and I was surprised when they came back saying they wanted to do a music video for “Dissociate.”
Creating this music video was one of the best collaborative experiences of my life. Emily, Dani, and I met up every week cooking up ideas for the plot, and somehow our craziest dreams came true with the cast and crew’s hard work. In May, we started filming the music video.
Incredibly, we were able to work with Dolby, who helped us make this possible. Max and I created my first Dolby Atmos mix with them, and it was the most insane experience ever.
Now the song and music video are finally coming out next month. So exciting!
